Veterans Overwatch Foundation is proud to currently partner in transporting food from a local food bank to the Veterans Affairs building, helping ensure veterans have access to essential groceries and support. As we continue to grow, we are working toward opening a dedicated food pantry for veterans later this year—creating a reliable, dignified resource where those who served our country can receive the nourishment and assistance they deserve. No veteran should have to wonder where their next meal will come from, and we are committed to making sure they don’t.
Operation Planting Roots
This program is dedicated to helping veterans transition from homelessness, unstable housing, or rehabilitation into safe, stable homes of their own. We provide hands-on relocation support, including moving assistance, furniture, household essentials, and connections to community resources that help create a strong foundation for long-term success.
More than just moving belongings, we help restore dignity, independence, and hope—giving veterans the opportunity to truly put down roots and begin their next chapter with stability and support.
Veterans Furnishings
At Veterans Overwatch Foundation, we proudly partner with Butler County Veterans in Need, Inc. to help veterans transitioning into stable housing after homelessness, displacement, or recovery from difficult life circumstance.
Using donated furniture and household essentials from our community, we help furnish their new homes with couches, tables, kitchen items, and other basic necessities. Our goal is to ensure every veteran has more than just a roof over their head—we help create a safe, comfortable place they can truly call home while restoring dignity, stability, and hope for the future.
Recreational Therapy Assistance
Our Recreational Therapy Assistance Program helps support veterans currently in treatment by providing access to meaningful recreational activities that promote healing, connection, and personal growth. Whether it’s helping cover the cost of outdoor activities, hobbies, or therapeutic experiences, we believe recovery goes beyond treatment alone. This program is designed to restore confidence, reduce isolation, and help veterans rediscover purpose and joy during their journey to wellness.
Operation North Pole
Operation North Pole brings hope and joy to veterans and their families during the holiday season. Through this program, the Veterans Overwatch Foundation provides Christmas assistance to veterans facing financial hardship, helping with gifts for children, holiday meals, winter essentials, and other seasonal support. Our goal is to ensure that no veteran family feels forgotten during the holidays and that every home can experience the warmth, dignity, and spirit of Christmas.
Clothing and Shoe Donations
Our Blue Bin Program makes it easy for the community to give back while making a lasting impact. By donating gently used clothing and footwear, every item collected helps reduce landfill waste and supports the mission of the Veterans Overwatch Foundation. These donations help fund programs and resources that directly assist veterans in need, creating a simple way for everyday giving to make a meaningful difference.
Operation Guiding Light
Operation Guiding Light is dedicated to helping veterans find the right path forward by connecting them with resources tailored to their unique needs. We work to ensure no veteran feels alone in navigating the system. Sometimes, the most important role we play is simply being the bridge—linking veterans to the people, programs, and support systems that can help them rebuild stability and move toward a brighter future.
Coffee and Resources
Our Coffee and Resources program creates a welcoming space where veterans can connect, relax, and access the support they need. Over a simple cup of coffee, we help bridge the gap to vital resources such as housing assistance, recovery support, mental health services, employment connections, and community programs. Sometimes the first step toward healing starts with a conversation—and we are here to listen, support, and walk alongside every veteran on their journey.
Vet Cut Program
The Vet Cut Program partners with the Butler Beauty Academy to provide
no-cost haircuts for veterans in our community. A fresh haircut can make a meaningful difference—helping veterans feel confident and prepared for job interviews, important appointments, special events, or simply everyday life. Through this program, we aim to restore dignity, boost confidence, and support each veteran on their path toward stability and success.
