This program is designed to help veterans get settled in their community. We will help veterans move their household items to their new residence, which is crucial for several reasons. First, many veterans may have physical limitations or disabilities because of their service. Secondly, relocating can be emotionally taxing, and providing this support can alleviate some of that stress. Additionally, veterans facing financial difficulties may not have resources to hire professional movers, making relocation assistance essential to ensure a smooth transition into their new home.
This program ensures veterans have appropriate clothing for job interviews or other important events. This is crucial as it boosts their confidence and empowers them to make a positive first impression, increasing their chance of securing meaningful employment opportunities. We accept new or gently used clothing and shoes.
In addition to clothing, we accept furniture donations to ensure veterans have access to essential items needed to furnish their homes and create a comfortable living environment.
If you are interested in donating these items, please contact us.
This program provides financial support for recreational assistance for veterans in treatment. This is essential for promoting holistic healing and fostering a sense of camaraderie, helping them to alleviate stress, build social connections, and regain a sense of purpose and joy in their lives.
These events are a platform for local veterans to connect, share experiences, and find support in a community of peers who understand their journey. This helps to promote mental health and resilience. Community resources are available to attendees.

This program provides transportation assistance to facilitate access to essential services like school, healthcare, and the grocery store to veterans. Access to healthcare is crucial in promoting the overall health and recovery of our nation's heroes. Transportation barriers often lead to social isolation and dependence on others for mobility. By facilitating independent travel with the use of bus tokens or passes, this program empowers veterans to engage in community activities, connect with peers, and regain a sense of autonomy and self-sufficiency.
This program is aimed at helping veterans acquire essential computer skills to better integrate into the workforce. Our mission for this program is to provide these veterans with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in today’s technology-driven job market. By equipping them with basic computer functions, we empower them to apply for jobs, perform essential tasks, and compete more effectively in the job market. We have purchased laptops and are offering courses at the Butler VA.
